Why We Love RVing

It’s no secret that we love RVs- heck, RVing is our business! Nonetheless, some wonder what the fascination is with living in a small, mobile space and if you’ve never owned or stayed in one, the concept can seem a bit foreign. Although, for us and our guests, there’s an attachment and admiration for this mode of travel and lifestyle. So, in honor of the upcoming holiday celebrating all things “love,” we’ve decided to put together a list of why we love our RVs •

#1: YOUR HOME IS LITERALLY ON THE GO

Tired of packing all of your belongings in a single suitcase just to discover you have to leave behind certain items that would make your trip more enjoyable because it doesn’t fit? Well, when you have an RV you have more than just a suitcase worth of room- you have Ii ke so suitcases worth! More room means more items you can bring with you on the trip and less money you have to spend when you get there!

#2: IT IS COST EFFECTIVE AND EFFICIENT

Let’s talk cost. Travelling is expensive, with the priciest items being flights and hotel accommodations. On average, flights cost hundreds of dollars and a hotel room will run you around $110 per night. Now from the RV side, an average amount spent on gas is a couple hundred depending on the destination and a spot at a RV park per night is about $45. Sure, buying the RV is an investment upfront, but if you are someone who loves to travel it could end up saving you tons of money in the long run (or money that you could spend on souvenirs along your travels)!

#3: THE ABILITY TO STAY ANYWHERE

Want to stay in the desert? Everglades? Mountains? Lakeside? Oceanside? Down the road from your kid that just moved away to college? No problem with an RV!
Can’t find any hotels or lodges within a SO-mile radius of where you want to stay? Or better yet, can’t find any AFFORDABLE accommodations? No problem with an RV!
The opportunities are endless of places you can explore with an RV. From RV spots in National Parks to boondocking in the Florida everglades, your RV can take you to places you could never experience if you had to stay in a hotel!

Doggie daycare is the fastest way to drain a vacation budget and flying your pet can be costly and dangerous. When you have a RV, you’ll have peace of mind knowing your trusted companion is comfortable and safe right by your side! Plus, they can join in the adventuring with you!

#5: THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE BACKROADS AND ROADS LESS TRAVELED

With highways and planes, many Americans don’t get to see the beauty that backroads can hold. When you travel in a RV, you can drive down Route 66, the canyon lands trail, AlA, and more! These scenic treasures are a bucket list must-see and with RV’s they can be made possible!
